Coming from North or South
Take National Highway No.3 (either northbound or southbound). At Wufeng Interchange (214), merge onto National Highway No.6 toward Guoshing and Puli. Exit at Puli Interchange. There are 3 exits to Puli; please take the second exit (Puli, Guoshing), and turn right towards Puli. Turn right at Zhongzheng Road, and then turn left at the sign for Yongfeng Road. Continue to follow the signs for Chung Tai Chan Monastery. Turn onto Dongfeng Road and go straight until you arrive at the monastery.
Coming from East
Take Route 8 of Central Cross-Island Highway to Dayu Ridge. Turn left onto Route 14 A towards Hehuan Mountain and Wushe. At Wushe, turn onto Route 14 towards Puli. Pass the Center of Taiwan Monument (the Geographic Center Stela) in Puli, and then go straight on Sinyi Road. Turn right at Sian Road and continue driving for 7 kilometers. Turn left at Yongfong Road and go straight until you arrive at the monastery.
Public Transportation
- 1.Take a bus to Puli.
- 2.Take train to Taichung Station. Then go to Gancheng Station, and take a bus to Puli.
- 3.Take High-Speed Rail (HSR) to Taichung Station (Wuri), then take a bus to Puli.
- 4.After arriving at Puli, take a taxi to the monastery.
